In the 18th match minute, Bilheira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Veloso was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Pedrão Soeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedrão Soeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 24th minute, Adalberto Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adalberto Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Digo da Costa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Bilheira SS's Orlando Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Caribas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Lara to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caribas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bilheira SS a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alberto Vieira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caribas's Doni Seco. 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Thomás Terra put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Caribas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bilheira SS:s goal. Orlando Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Doni Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Queiroz in the 75th minute of play forced Caribas's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Bilheira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Terra to maneuver through the defense. Bebeto Freitas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edgar Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caribas. After having played for 89 minutes, Bebeto Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caribas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cipriano Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Bebeto Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luís Lara during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Caribas getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Pedro Luís Lara hit a great ball. Adalberto Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 99 played minutes Orlando Queiroz rounded Caribas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bilheira SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
