Sabino Varela started the match with the kick off. Vladimir Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Guga Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Sabino Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derrubada FC's Walmyr Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dadá Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Gaspar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jatuarana AD defense, Vladimir Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guga Gaspar. The Jatuarana AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guga Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Derrubada FC's Walmyr Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Derrubada FC from getting a goal against them. Juninho Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Walmyr Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Jatuarana AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the game, Sabino Varela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walmyr Azevedo. Sabino Varela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Guga Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Guga Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Jatuarana AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Porto came free, but Guga Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Chiquinho Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derrubada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Juninho Leite was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. If Chiquinho Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Guga Gaspar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vladimir Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Vladimir Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jatuarana AD's Guga Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juninho Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Azevedo having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Juninho Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Azevedo. Derrubada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Sabino Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derrubada FC's Walmyr Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Leite in the 81st minute of play. Guga Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Porto in the 89th minute of the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Vladimir Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jatuarana AD's Guga Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
