After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Edmundo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pimentel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Edmundo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pimentel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luizinho Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Miranda in the 20th minute. Mateus Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Rezende having to interfere. Artur Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Pimentel FC's Edmundo Magalhães in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mussum's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Wilton Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Pimentel FC's Jonathan Netto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Diamantino Mesquita, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wilton Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Artur Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Magalhães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Magalhães slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. Charles da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mussum getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Charles da Silva hit a great ball. Edmundo Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Artur Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pimentel FC. Mussum's Artur Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mussum from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Mussum got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Quadros. With a little luck, Mussum's Artur Catarinense got control of the ball when Wilton Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wilton Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Edmundo Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pimentel FC's Luizinho Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Branco in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Magalhães in the 88th minute of play forced Mussum's goalkeeper Artur Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes Pimentel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diamantino Mesquita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mussum's Mateus Miranda to fire away a dangerous shot which Luizinho Rezende despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mussum were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Pimentel FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diamantino Mesquita took the corner. The corner ended in Diamantino Mesquita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pimentel FC's Luizinho Rezende did a great save. Mateus Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Luizinho Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pimentel FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
