When Sipicue's Luiz Gustavo Berger in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaquitinga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute of the match Sipicue got a corner. Itaquitinga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giuseppe Baptista ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luiz Gustavo Berger heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 7 played minutes Vitório Amaral rounded Sipicue's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Vitório Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Sena in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renato Fonseca came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sipicue's Luiz Gustavo Berger. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Luiz Gustavo Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Fonseca having to interfere. Itaquitinga's Renato Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Sena in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Itaquitinga's zone, Claudinei Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Fonseca came out of the goal and Claudinei Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renato Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Itaquitinga's Renato Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Sena in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Luiz Gustavo Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico de Toledo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frederico de Toledo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Frédson Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sipicue's Giuseppe Baptista tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Claudinei Sena came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sipicue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Sena couldn't finish the play. Frederico de Toledo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Baptista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes Itaquitinga got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Monteiro.
The wind increased when Claudinei Sena made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Berger got free with Renato Fonseca in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd match minute, Itaquitinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Itaquitinga's Renato Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Sena in the 55th minute of play. Renato Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Sena in the 57th minute of the match.
