Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jeribatuba's Lauro Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipicue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Claudinei Sena came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sipicue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Sena couldn't finish the play. Sipicue's Luiz Gustavo Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 15 in the game by Luiz Gustavo Berger from a close distance when the talented Daniel Lucas managed to make a qualified save. Jeribatuba's players were relieved. Adriano Luz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliézer Baptista. Eliézer Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lauro Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jeribatuba's goalkeeper Daniel Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Lucas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinei Sena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Sipicue's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cardoso came free, but Eliézer Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Sena succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Sena made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sipicue's Giuseppe Baptista got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Sena during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Sipicue got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Sena. In the 65th minute, Elano Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Claudinei Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sipicue's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Costa in the 81st minute of play forced Sipicue's goalkeeper Eliézer Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adriano Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivaldo Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Vivaldo Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeribatuba's Adriano Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliézer Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Costa in the 88th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lucas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Sena in the 91st minute of play forced Jeribatuba's goalkeeper Daniel Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliézer Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Luz went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
