Cristian Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Gaspar in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico de Almeida got free with Donato Moreira in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Chavantina's zone, Eurico de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Moreira came out of the goal and Eurico de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chavantina's Donato Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Cerezo in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alessandro Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. Donato Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Cerezo in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Coivara AD's goalkeeper Cristian Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Ceresso. When Elder Gaspar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Donato Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico de Almeida in the 73rd minute of play. Eurico de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jeferson Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Donato Moreira. Chavantina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico de Almeida in the 82nd minute of play forced Chavantina's goalkeeper Donato Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edu Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Donato Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Coivara AD's Eurico de Almeida in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Coivara AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edu Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chavantina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coivara AD.
