Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Nuno Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Saraiva having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Zanette in the 10th minute of play forced Tupanaci AD's goalkeeper Cipriano Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Rezende having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Comum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Branco to maneuver through the defense. When Leandro Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tupanaci AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Paulista couldn't finish the play. Dalmo de Alcântara lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute, one of Tupanaci AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tupanaci AD. Júlio Branco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Cipriano Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tupanaci AD's Cipriano Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Zanette in the 33rd minute of play. Cipriano Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga da Cunha during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Guga da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Luiz Guilherme Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Comum booed when Tupanaci AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Júlio Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Saraiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Guilherme Zanette made a kick off. The supporters of Comum booed when Tupanaci AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tupanaci AD's Cipriano Saraiva got control of the ball when Nuno Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfo Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Luiz Guilherme Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Saraiva having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Guilherme Zanette kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cipriano Saraiva. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Wilton Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tupanaci AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comum the free kick. After 71 played minutes Tupanaci AD got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Souto. After 71 played minutes, Comum's Júlio Branco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Saraiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Comum reached it. Tupanaci AD's Ivo de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Comum's zone, Adolfo Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Rezende came out of the goal and Adolfo Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nuno Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Comum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Quirino couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Nuno Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luiz Guilherme Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Saraiva having to interfere. The Comum supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Comum would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
