Lauro Carvalho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eusébio Ferraz 29 minutes into the match. If Renato Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Paranaense's late challenge caught a Mairinque AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. Lauro Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Eusébio Ferraz made a huge save. If Telmo Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eusébio Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mairinque AD. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 89th minute, Telmo Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Telmo Urbano put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eusébio Ferraz. Becreio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
