Romeu Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Pena in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Paes in the 9th minute of play. Décio Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Curimata SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Décio Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Hermínio Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, José Maria Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Memori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curimata SS the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Memori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Dante came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Curimata SS's Benê Paes. But to his dismay, Benê Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Paes in the 28th minute of play. When Benê Paes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristian Dante was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Memori's goalkeeper Cristian Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio Melo. When Curimata SS's Benê Paes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Memori's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Benê Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Benê Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curimata SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermínio Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benê Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Memori got a freekick which was hit by Téo Seco. 59 minutes into the game, Curimata SS's Hermínio Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Hermínio Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cristian Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Maia in the 85th minute of play forced Curimata SS's goalkeeper Romeu Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Benê Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Hermínio Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curimata SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Memori the free kick. After 93 played minutes Curimata SS got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Melo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curimata SS fully deserved thier win.
