When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinícius Bertassi made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gonçalo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jampruca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Jampruca's Ramiro Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fernando Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ramiro Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jampruca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gonçalo Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jampruca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Neiva couldn't finish the play.
