Nuno Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Mandrak in the 5th minute of the match. Gino Macedo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Reinaldo Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puei FC. Zacarias Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puei FC's Gino Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cabeceiras's Nuno Senna got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Macedo in the 24th minute of play forced Cabeceiras's goalkeeper Reinaldo Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Carvalho in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Puei FC's André Luís Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Mandrak in the 30th minute of play. Reinaldo Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Carvalho in the 33rd minute of play. Zacarias Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Reinaldo Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puei FC. In the 40th minute, Raí Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Cabeceiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Fábio Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Dante's late challenge caught a Cabeceiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Dante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Puei FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fábio Dante hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Pedro Mandrak made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Puei FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Mandrak came free, but André Luís Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Cabeceiras's José Pedro Mandrak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Luís Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinaldo Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Carvalho in the 59th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Leme having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Zacarias Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puei FC and the Cabeceiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puei FC's Zacarias Carvalho got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabeceiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabeceiras and the Puei FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Cabeceiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Senna to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Puei FC's Hernani Sena tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cabeceiras's Reinaldo Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Cabeceiras from getting a goal against them. If Zacarias Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cabeceiras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
