In the 8th minute, Ismael Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Madureira got free with José Augusto Berger in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Jaboty FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Victor Ramos hit a great ball. Armandinho Madureira struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. José Augusto Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Ismael Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Lopez having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Marinho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Lopez saved Angoritaba from getting behind. José Augusto Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Ismael Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mauro Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
