After 6 played minutes Ida got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Mendonça. 7 minutes into the match, Jonathan Antunes sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Humberto Melo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jonathan Antunes this time. The supporters of Silva booed when Ida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match, Digo Mazza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Humberto Melo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the game, Narciso Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Evandro Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ida's Narciso Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ida's zone, Wiliam Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Melo came out of the goal and Wiliam Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ida's Henrique Amaral got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Digo Mazza in the 29th minute of play forced Ida's goalkeeper Humberto Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Silva got free with Humberto Melo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Wiliam Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 37thth minute of the game Digo Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ida's Humberto Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wiliam Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Humberto Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Digo Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Evandro Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Duarte in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Artur Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ida's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evandro Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rodrigues in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Silva's zone, Artur Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Barral came out of the goal and Artur Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Narciso Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ida's Narciso Duarte got a free kick in the 70th minute. Narciso Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Barral having to interfere. Ida's Humberto Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Silva in the 77th minute of play. Ida were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Silva's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cássio Esteves took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ida's corner Cássio Esteves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evandro Barral quite easily take care of the ball. Narciso Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Artur Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Thomás Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ida's Humberto Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Digo Mazza in the 91st minute of play. Narciso Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Evandro Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Silva were victorious despite being under pressure from Ida for much of the match.
