To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Mocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Gilvan Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Paraíba in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Ubiretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Frank Alcântara took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Santos. José Vítor Catarinense's late challenge caught a Mocos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Ubiretama got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Catarinense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Alcântara made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ubiretama's Eurico Neto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Frank Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráuzio Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedito Ramalho went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Dráuzio Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Rocha having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mocos's zone, Frank Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráuzio Santos came out of the goal and Frank Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Dráuzio Santos made a huge save. Eurico Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dráuzio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Frank Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dráuzio Santos. The goal made the score 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Frank Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ubiretama's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Ubiretama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mocos throughout the match.
