After 13 played minutes Tapira EC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Reis. After 17 minutes, João Carlos da Fonseca made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tapira EC's Marcos Bueno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Magno Paes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pedrao's Chico Senna. Chico Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Tapira EC's Marcos Bueno got control of the ball when João Carlos da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Carlos da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Bueno having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Eduardo Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedrao's Abelardo Albuquerque couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tapira EC. The Tapira EC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pedrao from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
