Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Eriberto Tande came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Macaiba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Tande couldn't finish the play. Macaiba SC's Duda Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Paiva in the 12th minute of play. Vivaldo de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Linhares having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Hélder Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes, Ademar Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaiba SC and the Cigana SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Macaiba SC's Ademar Sena got a free kick in the 20th minute. André Luís Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Vivaldo de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duda Linhares. Macaiba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hélder Xavier struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Genílson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macaiba SC. Vivaldo de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Vivaldo de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cigana SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Genílson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Macaiba SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vicente Paes in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Vicente Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genílson Peres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Cigana SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when André Luís Paiva made the kick off in the second half. Hélder Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Genílson Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Eriberto Tande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Genílson Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Hílton de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Macaiba SC's Eriberto Tande fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Macaiba SC's Hélder Xavier in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cigana SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macaiba SC the free kick. Eriberto Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, André Luís Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hélder Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Peres was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Cigana SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Macaiba SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
