Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Melo made the kick off which started today's match. André Luís Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Christiano de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If André Luís Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cigana SS's Genílson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Melo in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Furtado during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vágner Furtado hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Emílio Carvalho in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genílson Peres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 19 minutes of play, Cigana SS's Vivaldo de Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiano de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Paiva in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vânderson Pinheiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vivaldo de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Christiano de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cigana SS. 31 minutes into the match, Emílio Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Peres. Cigana SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emílio Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Oséas Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Vivaldo de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Christiano de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cigana SS. After having played for 44 minutes, Vivaldo de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cigana SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luís Paiva was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alagoinha FC's Jaime Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Christiano de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Paiva in the 55th minute of play. André Luís Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Samuel Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alagoinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cigana SS the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Alagoinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Alagoinha FC's Christiano de Queiroz got control of the ball when Vivaldo de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vânderson Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alagoinha FC's protests and gave Vânderson Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Christiano de Queiroz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Genílson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Cigana SS got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Paiva. Genílson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Carvalho in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Cigana SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Mazza to maneuver through the defense. If André Luís Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genílson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alagoinha FC's Cauã Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Carvalho in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Cigana SS got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Mazza. After having played for 97 minutes, Jaime Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alagoinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alagoinha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cigana SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
