Lauro Pimenta's late challenge caught a Jabitaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Fernandes got free with Arthur Santana in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Valério Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Veiga having to interfere. Eugênio Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Sampaio in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Paraíba in the 33rd minute of play forced Jabitaca's goalkeeper Arthur Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Jabitaca's Valério Secco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugênio Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Marcelo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tuneiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jabitaca were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valério Secco was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eugênio Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Dênis Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugênio Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Diogo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuneiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arthur Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Paraíba went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the game, Valério Secco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugênio Veiga. Valério Secco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The supporters of Jabitaca booed when Tuneiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuneiras's Lauro Pimenta got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Lauro Pimenta off the ground. In the 86th minute, Lauro Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jabitaca's Arthur Arruda got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Fernandes in the 94th minute of play forced Jabitaca's goalkeeper Arthur Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diogo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Jabitaca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tuneiras throughout the match.
