Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aluísio Tavares got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aluísio Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chambivas FC booed when Barao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Barao getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nestor Berger hit a great ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo Catarinense was slow to take the kick. During this time Chambivas FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zé Paulo Catarinense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barao's Inácio das Neves did a great save. David Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Azevedo having to interfere. Dionísio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Patrick Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aluísio Tavares in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Nestor Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gualter Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chambivas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Chambivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Bastos. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionísio Machado to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dionísio Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Linhares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inácio das Neves firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dionísio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barao's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionísio Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 66 played minutes Barao got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Berger. Barao's Inácio das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Barao from getting a goal against them. Nestor Berger hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dionísio Machado struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Patrick Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barao. After 73 played minutes, Barao's Elano Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barao reached it. With a little luck, Barao's Inácio das Neves got control of the ball when Gualter Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualter Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aluísio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio das Neves having to interfere. Dionísio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chambivas FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Júlio Passos hit a great ball. David Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Azevedo having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
