After a rather tough play, Combuti's Thomás Pimenta got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Zé Paulo Catarinense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Combuti's Luís Guilherme da Silveira didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aluísio Tavares in the 17th minute of play forced Combuti's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reginaldo Gaspar went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Gualter Linhares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Gaspar in the 34th minute of play forced Chambivas FC's goalkeeper Patrick Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Azevedo having to interfere. Combuti's Luís Guilherme da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aluísio Tavares in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Combuti's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Rosado made a kick off. Reginaldo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Patrick Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Combuti. 59 minutes into the match, Chambivas FC's Gualter Linhares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Guilherme da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Sílvio Luiz Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reginaldo Gaspar got free with Patrick Azevedo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reginaldo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Patrick Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aluísio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Linhares in the 77th minute of the match. Patrick Azevedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Vladimir Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Patrick Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Chambivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Passos. Aluísio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme da Silveira having to interfere. Vladimir Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
