Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frédson Passos kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sucuriu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Passos came free, but Nilmar Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz de Carvalho having to interfere. Pedro Luiz de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Passos in the 11th minute of play forced Sucuriu AD's goalkeeper Nilmar Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz de Carvalho having to interfere. Pedro Luiz de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Araújo in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Flavinho Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perobal SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sucuriu AD the free kick. Flavinho Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Zé Carlos da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Araújo in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Frédson Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perobal SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sucuriu AD's zone, Delfim Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Valadares came out of the goal and Delfim Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frédson Passos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nilmar Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perobal SC. A collision led to Sucuriu AD getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Breno Cardozo hit a great ball. The supporters of Perobal SC booed when Sucuriu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nilmar Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sucuriu AD's Cléber Correia got a free kick in the 38th minute. Breno Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Perobal SC booed when Sucuriu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frédson Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nilmar Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar Valadares was a little too slow when Frédson Passos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Carlos da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Zé Carlos da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th play minute Gilvan Araújo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Luiz de Carvalho. 1-1. If Frédson Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Zé Carlos da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sucuriu AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Carlos da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After taking down the ball on Perobal SC's corner Cafu Mandrak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nilmar Valadares quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Perobal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Passos to maneuver through the defense. Zé Carlos da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Luiz de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Perobal SC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Araújo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sucuriu AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
