Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Fabiano Couto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Agenor Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canitar SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibicoara SS the free kick. A collision led to Canitar SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Agenor Gaúcho hit a great ball. Maurinho Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hamílton Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Vieira in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Couto in the 22nd minute of play forced Ibicoara SS's goalkeeper Gilberto Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Ibicoara SS's Juvenal Miranda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hamílton Mumbach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Miranda's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Maurinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Juvenal Miranda, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hamílton Mumbach was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Dionísio Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Agenor Gaúcho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Juvenal Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hamílton Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juvenal Miranda was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Canitar SC got a corner. Ibicoara SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agnaldo Trigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 57 minutes into the match, Canitar SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Gonçalves came free, but Hamílton Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Couto struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gilberto Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canitar SC. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Maurinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibicoara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Mumbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canitar SC's Hamílton Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Miranda in the 68th minute of play. Maurinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Mumbach having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ibicoara SS's Chico Toledo got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Chico Toledo off the ground. Chico Toledo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ibicoara SS's Maurinho Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Canitar SC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Nascimento came free, but Hamílton Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Gonçalves in the 82nd minute of the match. Ibicoara SS's Christiano Brasil suffered a sore foot after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 87 minutes, Agnaldo Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canitar SC and the Ibicoara SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Canitar SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
