Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gino Lucas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Talhada's Ulisses Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Soares in the 3rd minute of play. When Leonel Messias came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Talhada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Messias couldn't finish the play. In the 11th play minute Leonel Messias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeca Campidelis. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Talhada's Gino Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeca Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When João Carlos Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talhada's protests and gave João Carlos Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. Geovânio Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Mota having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Talhada's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Sá came free, but Ulisses Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Geovânio Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulisses Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Talhada's Ulisses Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Sá in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Ibiagui SC booed when Talhada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiagui SC's zone, Leonel Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Campidelis came out of the goal and Leonel Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Talhada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Paraense to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Túlio Sá notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Talhada's Ulisses Mota. Ulisses Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gino Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Campidelis having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Sá to make the kick off. Ulisses Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Túlio Sá showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. Túlio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Mota having to interfere. Geovânio Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Talhada's Ulisses Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Sá in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Túlio Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulisses Mota was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the game, Aílton Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talhada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibiagui SC the free kick. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talhada! When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Ibiagui SC's Dinei Alagoano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ulisses Mota. Ibiagui SC's Geovânio Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulisses Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Diniz in the 88th minute. Zeca Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Messias in the 95th minute of the match. After 99 played minutes Ibiagui SC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Rezende. Ibiagui SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
