Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Túlio Sá kicked off to start the match. Zeca Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Luiz Fabiano Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Couto scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeca Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ibiagui SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leandro Rezende hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Túlio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Mumbach having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Agnaldo Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geovânio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ibiagui SC booed when Canitar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Geovânio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Canitar SC's Hamílton Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Soares in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agenor Gaúcho during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Canitar SC got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Gaúcho. 63 minutes into the game, Túlio Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hamílton Mumbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ibiagui SC booed when Canitar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agenor Gaúcho hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Dinei Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamílton Mumbach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ulisses Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Clóvis Soares fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibiagui SC's protests and gave Clóvis Soares a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibiagui SC! The Ibiagui SC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Ibiagui SC's Túlio Sá looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Luiz Fabiano Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Campidelis having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ibiagui SC could leave the field as winners, despite Canitar SC having more of the ball for most of the match.
