The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Nelsinho Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enchu and the Munim players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from Durval Favoretto in the 5th minute of play was well struck, but Gino Madureira made a really good save at the right post. In the 11th minute, Kauan Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Alves. Munim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Enchu's Gino Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Enchu from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes Munim got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Bezerra. In the 19th minute of the match Fernando Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doriva Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benjamin de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Doriva Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enchu. In the 26th minute Enchu were awarded a corner. Fernando Ferreira went to the cornerflag to take it. Fernando Ferreira made a great header on Enchu's corner, it was just that Munim's Doriva Alves managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the game, Ricardo Faustino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enchu the free kick. In the 29th minute, Ricardo Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Faustino might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gino Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Faustino ran back to his position shaking his head. Munim's Doriva Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin de Amaral in the 34th minute of play. Doriva Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin de Amaral in the 41st minute of play. Benjamin de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Alves having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Munim got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Cruz. Doriva Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin de Amaral to make the kick off. Enchu's Gino Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Faustino in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Gabriel Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Munim's Ricardo Faustino in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Enchu's goalie prevented a goal. Gino Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munim. Ricardo Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Bezerra in the 76th minute of play forced Enchu's goalkeeper Gino Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Enchu getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gabriel Maciel hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Benjamin de Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Alves. Munim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin de Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 88 minutes into the match, Munim's goalkeeper Doriva Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin de Amaral. Benjamin de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Alves having to interfere.
