The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Luz in the 10th minute of play forced Santanopole SS's goalkeeper Kauã Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Itacare SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Tasso came free, but Tostão Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Rafael Tasso rounded Itacare SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Santanopole SS's Kauã Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Coutinho in the 20th minute of play. Tostão Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adalberto Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacare SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauã Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adalberto Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã Vasconcelos having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Santanopole SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Coutinho came free, but Kauã Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Tasso in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Santanopole SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Coutinho came free, but Kauã Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itacare SC's goalkeeper Tostão Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Santanopole SS's Rafael Tasso got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rafael Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Tasso was the one to do the kick off. Tostão Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Tasso's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Santanopole SS booed when Itacare SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Rafael Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santanopole SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Santanopole SS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Benjamin Baiano hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Adalberto Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorian Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã Vasconcelos having to interfere. Santanopole SS's Kauã Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Coutinho in the 75th minute of play. Kauã Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorian Coutinho in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauã Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Santanopole SS's Kauã Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Adalberto Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Rafael Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tostão Miranda. Itacare SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 91st minute, Benjamin Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95thth minute of the game Gláuber Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itacare SC's Tostão Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aníbal Trigo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Aníbal Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Rafael Tasso scored 3-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tostão Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
