Granzato EC's Dagoberto Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Martins in the 31st minute of play. When José Pedro Lago came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Granzato EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Lago couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes José Pedro Lago rounded Pupury SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Adalberto Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Granzato EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Carlos Fernando de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Lago in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Fernando de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Lago in the 61st minute of the match. Léo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Senna having to interfere. Patrício Gerber's late challenge caught a Pupury SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pupury SC's Léo Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Armandinho Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pupury SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granzato EC the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Pupury SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Granzato EC had won after a very even match.
