Dorival Santos came out of the goal and José Pedro Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorival Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Alvarenga in the 5th minute of the match. Júlio da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Júlio da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oséas Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oséas Botelho in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adalberto Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granzato EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Estrias's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Lago came free, but Dorival Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Granzato EC's José Pedro Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Isaltino Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Erasmo Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Senna. Granzato EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Adalberto Alvarenga could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Dorival Santos however easily saved by the left post. Adalberto Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Dorival Santos made a huge save. When Juarês Abreu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. 96 minutes into the game, Granzato EC's Adalberto Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorival Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Estrias were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Granzato EC for a fine match.
