An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Zanette in the 4th minute of play forced Amanari's goalkeeper Donato Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manoel Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amanari's protests and gave Manoel Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. Manoel Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marcelinho Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Donato Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapataria. In the 24th match minute, Amanari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Amanari got a freekick which was hit by Enio Sá. After 32 played minutes Sapataria got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Barros. 33 minutes into the match, Sapataria's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Berger came free, but Gabriel Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sapataria's Gabriel Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sapataria from getting a goal against them. When Armando Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sapataria's protests and gave Armando Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sapataria getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Armando Cordeiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Josué Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amanari's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josué Berger was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Josué Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caetano Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Donato Sabóia made a huge save. Caetano Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amanari! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Sapataria. Amadeu Matos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donato Sabóia. 0-1. Gabriel Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ramos having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Amanari's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Meirelles came free, but Donato Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sapataria's Caetano Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapataria's goalkeeper Gabriel Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christiano Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Amanari's Christiano Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Berger in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Armando Cordeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After 97 played minutes Sapataria got a freekick which was hit by Armando Cordeiro. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
