With a little luck, Joaquim FC's Eduardo Arósio got control of the ball when Marcelinho Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Germano Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joaquim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sapataria the free kick. A collision led to Joaquim FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcelinho Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
