Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonas Goiano got the match started through his kick off. Cerobas FC's Francisco Dias suffered a sore foot after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 5 minutes, Paulo Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salsas and the Cerobas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ernesto Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Salsas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Tavares couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cerobas FC! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Salsas. Digo Peixoto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raimundo Negri. 0-1. Raimundo Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Ferreira in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Roger do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zacarias Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Inácio Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerobas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Salsas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Almir Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Cerobas FC's Raimundo Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cerobas FC from getting a goal against them. Almir Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Raimundo Negri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernesto Tavares had several of the Cerobas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Raimundo Negri as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Salsas getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zacarias Quintal hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, André Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cerobas FC's Raimundo Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Cerobas FC from getting a goal against them. João Pedro Rosado's late challenge caught a Salsas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Cerobas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salsas:s goal. The goalkeeper, Raimundo Negri, was totally fooled by Salsas's Digo Peixoto, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cerobas FC's Raimundo Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Cerobas FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Ferreira in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almir Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ernesto Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salsas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cerobas FC's zone, Almir Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Negri came out of the goal and Almir Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Armando Marinho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Nando Freitas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Salsas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
