After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Barros made a kick off. Fiori Pena hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paciencia SS's zone, Adhemar Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedê Koehler came out of the goal and Adhemar Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Milona SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Barros to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Monteiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dedê Koehler was a little too slow when Elivélton Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-1. After a rather tough play, Milona SS's Sílvio Luiz de Andrade got a free kick in the 68th minute. Elivélton Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Netto having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz de Andrade hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milona SS's zone, Laércio Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Netto came out of the goal and Laércio Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Milona SS got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Jacinto. Zeca da Rocha fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot.
