Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelo Proença took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ademir Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Orleans EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Velasco couldn't finish the play. Jorge Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Ademir Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes in the game, Gonçalo Toscano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paulão Eger having to interfere. Marcelo Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Eger having to interfere. When Renato Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imbu EC's protests and gave Renato Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Imbu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Freitas to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Marcelo Proença rounded Orleans EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Paulão Eger made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gonçalo Toscano sent off a good shot on target. João Adolfo Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 26th match minute, Orleans EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Matos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Marcelo Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arlindo Cardoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudinho Vianna. Imbu EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Yuri Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Gonçalo Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulão Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ademir Velasco to make the kick off. If Gonçalo Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orleans EC's zone, Marcelo Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Eger came out of the goal and Marcelo Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orleans EC's Paulão Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Proença in the 61st minute of play. Gonçalo Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ademir Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Vianna came out and tried to block the shot, but Ademir Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Orleans EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Toscano came free, but Paulão Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Reis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Urbano during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Imbu EC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Erivaldo Pena hit a great ball. Claudinho Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Velasco in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Imbu EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Orleans EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
