Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Walmyr Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Magarai SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Saraiva couldn't finish the play. When Celsinho de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magarai SS's protests and gave Celsinho de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Magarai SS! The referee gave Bariry a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flávio Cearense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Magarai SS's Toninho Jacinto. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Faria in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Jacinto saved Magarai SS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Bariry's zone, Walmyr Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Barbosa came out of the goal and Walmyr Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomás Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Saraiva in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 28 minutes into the match, Magarai SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Faria came free, but Toninho Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dino de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bariry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino de Souza couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Bariry's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Tinoco came free, but Leopoldo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmyr Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Magarai SS's Almir Amorim got a free kick in the 40th minute. Flávio Cearense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toninho Jacinto. Magarai SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomás Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Toninho Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abelardo Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. Walmyr Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Leopoldo Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magarai SS. In the 56th match minute, Bariry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doriva Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bariry's protests and gave Doriva Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute of the match Celsinho de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Abelardo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Dino de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Nico Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bariry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magarai SS the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Tinoco in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abelardo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Barbosa having to interfere. If Abelardo Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
