Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gualter Carioca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benedito Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Tapagem's Raimundo Lira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barretos EC. Beto Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê Campidelis in the 7th minute. Gualter Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Perez having to interfere. Barretos EC's Beto Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Carioca in the 21st minute of play. Ronaldão Cearense's late challenge caught a Tapagem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. Álvaro Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Sampaio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tapagem defense, Felipe Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmir Sampaio. The Tapagem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Sampaio should have stopped the shot. In the game's 36th minute Barretos EC's Erasmo Teixeira took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Walmir Sampaio and thus the score was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Neto in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Sampaio saved Tapagem from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Neto made a kick off. Beto Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Carioca in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Barretos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Carioca came free, but Beto Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moisés Vianna got free with Walmir Sampaio in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 played minutes Barretos EC got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Torres. After 75 played minutes Tapagem got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Carioca. Felipe Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Moisés Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmir Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Álvaro Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Sampaio came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Barretos EC's Moisés Vianna. But to his dismay, Moisés Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Moisés Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Sampaio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barretos EC's Samuca de Andrade got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
