Alberto Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quintino AD's Chicão Santana got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Andrézinho Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Vides struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pedro Paulo Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quintino AD. After 18 played minutes Dende FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias de Alcântara. After 19 played minutes, Quintino AD's Chicão Santana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Batista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quintino AD reached it. 29 minutes into the game, Ivo de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quintino AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dende FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Quintino AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Quintino AD's Renan Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Quintino AD from getting a goal against them. Renan Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Sampaio in the 34th minute of play. Andrézinho Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, André Luís Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Alberto Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Diogo Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Batista. Dende FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dende FC's Pedro Paulo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Chaves in the 64th minute of play. Ivo de Senna hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Quintino AD's Renan Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Sampaio in the 74th minute of play. Alberto Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Bezerra having to make a save. When Ivo de Senna was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Ivo de Senna hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Batista having to interfere.
