The wind increased when Mathias Pinho made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto da Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Verga's Tostão Sarmento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Túlio Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto da Silvas short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Angelo Aguiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
