Queixadas AD's Reginaldo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Queixadas AD got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Carioca. Beto Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre de Carvalho having to interfere. Romeu Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alexandre de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Itapecerica SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reginaldo Meira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Válter de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Mattos in the 23rd minute of the match. Válter de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionísio Toscano having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Reginaldo Meira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Romeu Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Meira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Dionísio Toscano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dionísio Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Válter de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionísio Toscano having to interfere.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Reginaldo Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queixadas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Válter de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionísio Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Romeu Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapecerica SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeu Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionísio Toscano. Itapecerica SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reginaldo Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 79th minute Luizinho Guedes suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Beto Quadros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Alexandre de Carvalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zé Augusto Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Válter de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Queixadas AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Reginaldo Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionísio Toscano having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Queixadas AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itapecerica SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
