Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Falcão Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Antônio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mimoso's Alfredo Quaresma pulled a muscle in his leg after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fernão Soeiro's late challenge caught a Mimoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernão Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Frades got a freekick which was hit by Fernão Soeiro. Enéas Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Celsinho Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Cauan Mota took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Romero. Enéas Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ulisses Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frades's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Guerra got free with Edson Prado in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Maia in the 18th minute of play forced Mimoso's goalkeeper Edson Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mimoso's goalkeeper Edson Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulisses Guerra. In the 21st minute, Fernão Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Guerra got free with Edson Prado in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Tasso in the 38th minute of play forced Frades's goalkeeper Enéas Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulisses Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Prado having to interfere. A collision led to Mimoso getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Vítor Passos hit a great ball.

Fernão Soeiro was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a little luck, Frades's Enéas Romero got control of the ball when Antônio Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antônio Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Romero having to interfere. If Ulisses Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mimoso's zone, Celsinho Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Prado came out of the goal and Celsinho Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Frades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Fausto Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivélton Ramalho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Cauan Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Mimoso's Antônio Tasso made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frades's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Cauan Mota scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Romero, making the score, 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, Frades's Alexsandro Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Mimoso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mimoso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
