The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emerson Fontes was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Terra in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Jaguaricatu SC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emerson Fontes hit a great ball. If Cafu Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jaguaricatu SC's Sílvio Luiz Linares got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Cafu Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Meirelles. Jaguaricatu SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
