Sidnei Araújo's late challenge caught a Capela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Seberi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capela:s goal. The referee gave Capela a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edson Saldanha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seberi's Sílvio Luiz Pontes. 1-0. Natã Simãos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Sílvio Luiz Pontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Luiz Eduardo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibúrcio Mumbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Luiz Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibúrcio Mumbach ran back to his position shaking his head. Tibúrcio Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Pontes having to interfere. Capela's Natã Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Seberi's Benê Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joélson Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Jeferson Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seberi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capela the free kick. Jeferson Tasso hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Seberi's Benê Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Tibúrcio Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natã Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Sílvio Luiz Pontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Zanette to make the kick off. Seberi's Luiz Eduardo Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Luiz Eduardo Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Seberi's Sidnei Araújo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joélson Marquez. 67 minutes into the match, Seberi's goal looked a bit too open when Tibúrcio Mumbach came free, but Sílvio Luiz Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Zanette recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joélson Marquez. Luiz Eduardo Zanette showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, Capela's goalkeeper Joélson Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benê Marquez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dadá Cosme in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidnei Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Simão in the 87th minute of play forced Seberi's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seberi's Jeferson Tasso got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Jeferson Tasso off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Seberi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luiz Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Simão's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Samuca Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibúrcio Mumbach in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Seberi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
