Bernardo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Pontes having to interfere. When Benê Marquez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Serafim Nogueira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Seberi booed when Imburanas AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aluísio Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo Zanette hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Luiz Eduardo Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Nogueira was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Faria in the 26th minute of play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Seberi's Benê Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafim Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Fábio Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Seberi got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Novaes. When Kléberson Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Imburanas AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléberson Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Faria was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Novaes in the 53rd minute of play forced Imburanas AD's goalkeeper Serafim Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Imburanas AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aluísio Alcântara hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Imburanas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Marquez came free, but Serafim Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Falcão Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seberi's protests and gave Falcão Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. 64 minutes into the match, Seberi's Luiz Eduardo Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luiz Eduardo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benê Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Benê Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seberi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Faria in the 94th minute of play forced Seberi's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seberi's Sílvio Luiz Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Seberi from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Seberi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
