Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilvan Toscano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Apeu's Lauro da Silveira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Silvinho de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Apeu's Carlos de Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quixariu EC. Fausto Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Lira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Quixariu EC's Fausto Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro da Silveira in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Quixariu EC's Gilvan Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilvan Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Apeu's goalkeeper Alessandro de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmyr Lira. 27 minutes into the match, Quixariu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Guerra came free, but Fausto Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Fernandinho Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixariu EC's Fausto Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Lauro da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvinho de Amorim hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Fernandinho Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quixariu EC's Gilvan Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Gilvan Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Toscano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alessandro de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Lira in the 55th minute of the match. Lauro da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Luz having to interfere. Gilvan Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 played minutes Apeu got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Veiga. Quixariu EC's Fausto Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Guerra in the 71st minute of play. Walmyr Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro de Lara having to interfere. When Silvinho de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Quixariu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho de Amorim couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Apeu got a freekick which was hit by Cido Batista. Lauro da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Luz having to interfere. If Walmyr Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Toscano in the 95th minute of play forced Apeu's goalkeeper Alessandro de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quixariu EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Apeu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
