Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Silva got the match started through his kick off. Bernardinho Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Quadros having to interfere. Clemente Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bernardinho Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Carlos Eduardo Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tormenta's João Augusto Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Baptista in the 20th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Aratama FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Cardoso. In the 35th match minute, Aratama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jaime Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tormenta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bernardinho Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Silva in the 38th minute of play forced Aratama FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Aratama FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Vinhas. Bernardinho Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Quadros having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serginho Baptista to make the kick off. Bernardinho Trigos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Carlos Eduardo Quadros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernardinho Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Eger scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Tormenta's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Baptista came free, but João Augusto Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aratama FC's zone, Jaime Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Quadros came out of the goal and Jaime Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Silva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Tormenta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eusébio Eger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Clemente Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aratama FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Bernardinho Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tormenta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Trigo couldn't finish the play. César Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. João Augusto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Flávio Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tormenta and the Aratama FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serginho Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. João Augusto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Eger in the 99th minute of the match. Aratama FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
