Humberto Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Teles to strike the kick off in the second half. If Duarte Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The supporters of Pindurao booed when Iassiara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Carlinhos Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elói Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Iassiara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pindurao throughout the match.
