Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomás Rocha started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apucarena's goalkeeper Erasmo Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Valdomiro Magalhães fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Valdomiro Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wellington Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. Umberto Carneiro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Douglas Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Silveira. Apucarena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tony Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Tipiti's Thomás Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Erasmo Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Rocha in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. Wellington Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Senna in the 51st minute of play. If Tony Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Tróia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Apucarena got a freekick which was hit by Vítor de Souza. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Correia during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Apucarena booed when Tipiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wellington Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apucarena's Erasmo Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Apucarena from getting a goal against them. When Thomás Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tipiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Rocha couldn't finish the play. Wellington Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Senna in the 87th minute of the match. Thomás Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Silveira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Paulão Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tipiti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
