Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matheus Quirino started the match with the kick off. Arlindo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Arlindo Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mutunopolis FC's Eugênio Sabóia got a free kick in the 14th minute. Pedrão Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Neiva having to interfere. Mutunopolis FC's Váldson Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mutunopolis FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mutunopolis FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Evaristo Valladares hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Vítor Santos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 22 played minutes Mutunopolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Melo. Váldson Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Santos in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Mutunopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Simão came free, but Váldson Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chamengo AD booed when Mutunopolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Fábio Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Santos got free with Váldson Neiva in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Simão in the 45th minute of play forced Mutunopolis FC's goalkeeper Váldson Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrão Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. When Chamengo AD's Vítor Santos in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mutunopolis FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Vítor Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamengo AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mutunopolis FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eugênio Sabóia hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, Chamengo AD's Gabriel Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Váldson Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chamengo AD reached it. Manuel Favoretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arlindo Carneiro having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Chamengo AD's goalkeeper Arlindo Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Favoretto. In the 70th minute, Manuel Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Quirino in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Carneiro saved Chamengo AD from getting behind. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chamengo AD's goalkeeper Arlindo Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Favoretto got free with Arlindo Carneiro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Evaristo Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arlindo Carneiro. Evaristo Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Váldson Neiva came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Chamengo AD's Pedrão Simão. But to his dismay, Pedrão Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Váldson Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Simão in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Quirino in the 92nd minute of play forced Chamengo AD's goalkeeper Arlindo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arlindo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chamengo AD's Pedrão Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mutunopolis FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chamengo AD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
