Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmo Bueno started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Dalmo Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Marequeta SS booed when Curralinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Dalmo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curralinho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curralinho AD's Giovani Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Curralinho AD from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Tróia got free with Giovani Bezerra in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Marequeta SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Bueno came free, but Marcinho Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Didi Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Dito Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dalmo Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho Correia was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Dito Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Correia having to interfere. Dalmo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcinho Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dito Baptista went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Armindo Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Esteves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Marcinho Correia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dito Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcinho Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmo Bueno in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinei Lucas's late challenge caught a Curralinho AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. Marcinho Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Baptista in the 65th minute. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marequeta SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarbas Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time Curralinho AD's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Marequeta SS's goalie and right to Amadeu Ferreira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Marequeta SS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marcinho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dalmo Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Marcinho Correia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Marequeta SS's Dinei Lucas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dalmo Bueno might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcinho Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo Bueno ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcinho Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmo Bueno's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute Didi Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Armindo Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marequeta SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dito Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
