An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Bueno in the 7th minute of play forced Uriporanga SC's goalkeeper Edmundo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uriporanga SC booed when Curralinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Roger Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovani Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Uriporanga SC booed when Curralinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Josué Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Nascimento in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani Bezerra saved Curralinho AD from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Josué Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dalmo Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Curralinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Bueno couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Curralinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Esteves. The supporters of Curralinho AD booed when Uriporanga SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dito Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, João Paulo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rdth minute of the game Roger Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curralinho AD's Giovani Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Curralinho AD's Paulo Renato Esteves got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luís Fernando Santana, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roger Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Bezerra having to interfere. When Josué Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Uriporanga SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Brodel couldn't finish the play. If Josué Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josué Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Giovani Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Bezerra having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Renato Esteves during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Curralinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Esteves. In the 92nd minute, Roger Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovani Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Brodel in the 95th minute of play. Uriporanga SC played a much better game than Curralinho AD and deserved their victory. The Curralinho AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
