Oswaldo Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Leal's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Renato Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Cosme in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remo Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Valdomiro Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Leal to make the kick off. If Marco Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Remo Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vigia's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Velloso in the 55th minute of play forced Eufrosina's goalkeeper Valdomiro Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Remo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Remo Velloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdomiro Urbano. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of Vigia booed when Eufrosina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Cosme struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Valdomiro Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vigia. If Remo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ademir Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marco Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marco Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marco Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vigia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Cosme couldn't finish the play. Remo Velloso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Velloso in the 91st minute of play forced Eufrosina's goalkeeper Valdomiro Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vigia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
